RESEARCH
The trends emphasized in the collection first came to life in 1996-2003, the era heavily driven by pop culture and ultra-consumerism. This produced a streetwear-meets-glamour style that encompassed not just fashion, but art, music, TV, and technology. The start of this trend can attributed to the Spice Girls 1997 Super Bowl ad, which has been dubbed “The arrival of "Generation Next.”
